Ukrainian smuggling is growing faster than Ukrainian economy

Ukrainian export is growing in quantity and in monetary terms. This is positive, because the economy is recovering as certified by data of Ukrstat. In addition, what falls into the field of view of statistics are the flows, or even the rivers of goods transported across the country’s border – smuggling. A year ago I tried to calculate its approximate volumes, taking as a basis open data of national statistics of several states. Today, after the publication of corrected data on international trade in goods, I estimated the dynamics of smuggling.
