As it happens, all the important news of March, one way or another, are related to deaths from intoxication by poison or carbon monoxide or metaphoric suffocation. The case of Sergii Skrypal, presidential elections, garbage protest, fire in Kemerovo and “Slutskyi-Gate”. And if literally a few weeks ago it seemed that the reserve of the regime’s strength in its ability to get out without consequences is inexhaustible, then last week marked its limits.
