Having placed its bets on the railway and road transport, Ukraine was almost not involved in the revival of air transport during the past 25 years.
In 2030 the Ukrainian passenger traffic has doubled and became larger than in neighboring Poland. Thanks to sustainable economic growth, Ukrainians have become more mobile – every second citizen of our country uses planes (in 2017 only every 20th citizen). Airport Borypil has become the largest regional hub of the Eastern Europe, providing services to almost 45 million passengers annually. Most of the passengers are generated by world aviation groups, which use modern safe airplanes.
