STRATEGY FOR DEVELOPMENT OF UKRZALIZNYTSIA. IS IT DEAD-END ROAD?

Ukrzaliznytsia has no prospects for development. The fact is that the Strategy for development of Ukrzaliznytsia for 2019-2023 was developed based on the National Transport Strategy “Drive Ukraine 2030”. This is indicated on the first pages of the document. The creation of a strategy for any region, industry, enterprise, etc, requires having a national strategy, national vision. And then based on this we need to build the mission, goals and objectives of the state. All strategies should be synchronized in directions, deadlines and should intersect in the most important, fundamental issues, including the budget. Now we do not even have an economic development strategy for 2019-2023.

Therefore, the conclusions are:

  1. This Strategy is based on an unsustainable national transport strategy.
  2. The figures presented mean the continuation of the movement in the same direction in which the Ukrzaliznytsia is moving today. This is the dead-end road.
