HUNGARY WANTS TO ANNEX TRANSCARPATHIA – TRUTH OR MYTH?

More and more often there are talks in the media field that Hungary intends to annex Transcarpathia, preparing for an invasion of the territory of Ukraine, wants to repeat the Russian occupation scenario. Indeed, Hungary is violating Ukrainian sovereignty. The issuance of Hungarian passports to Ukrainians in Transcarpathia has become a high profile incident. “Taking into consideration the activities incompatible with the status of the consular officer, consul of the Consulate of Hungary in the city of Berehove” was declared a persona non grata by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. In addition, Hungary has friendly relations with the Kremlin, but the annexation, armed intervention or simply luring all Transcarpathians into the country is out of the question.
