On February 13, Facebook in its press release announced the deleting of more than 200 fake profiles and that at least part of these profiles was related to the government of Moldova. According to them, 20 thousand dollars were spent on the functioning of these profiles. In response, the Democratic Party denied all charges and accused the company of interfering in the electoral process.

The past week brought international political news to Moldova. First, on 12 February, the country was visited by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Péter Szijjártó. And at the end of the week, President Dodon attended the Munich Security Conference. There he met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, CEO of Sberbank Herman Gref and European Commissioner for Enlargement Johannes Hahn.
