In July this year, it is expected the adoption of the law “On Education”, which will make possible the implementation of the concept “New Ukrainian School”, presented by the Ministry of Education and Science.

From the next academic year (2018-2019) pupils who enter the first grades will be studying in a new way.

The reformation of the school education system in Ukraine is not only about adopting a new law and introducing a new concept. First of all, we are talking about the psychological readiness of teachers to work in the new normative field, and in the new field of social expectations.

The teacher is given more freedom, but is expected to be more responsible and independent.

New Ukrainian School places not the methods, but the child in the center of the learning process.
