Shulmeister: UIA requirements to Mininfrastructure are devoid of logic – they are just nonsenses

UIA, through court action, demands the cancellation of Ryanair’s contract with the Lviv airport and the prohibition of the Ministry of Infrastructure to promote this low-cost in Ukraine. Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelian stated this.

“UIA was “forced” to cut down prices, and inflicted harm to it. Therefore, the “national” airline applies to the court that the Ministry of Infrastructure will compensate them tens of millions of hryvnias of “losses” for promotional tickets, which they sold in the framework of an auction of unprecedented generosity”, – Omelian wrote in his Facebook.

Volodymyr Shulmeister, director of the analytical center “Ukrainian Institute of the Future” of the programme “The Infrastructure”, commented on this situation on the radio station “Voice of the Capital”.
