Reasons of organizational fiasco of Ukraine in PACE

A year ago, the resolution of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on the Ukrainian question gave grounds for optimism and allowed politicians to state the country’s unconditional support from “the European partners”. “An important event happened today: the day of Ukraine in the PACE ended with the total victory of those who support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression,” said Mr. Serhiy Sobolyev then. Less than 12 months passed and delegates from European countries (mostly the same people who “support Ukraine in its struggle”) voted for the resolution on the Ukrainian law “On Education”, which worried the European neighbors of Ukraine. This situation is the most significant fiasco of Ukrainian diplomacy in these days. Why did this happen?
