Why 50 km/h speed limit will not give any results

Since January 1, 2018, there has been introduced a speed reduction in the city from 60 km/h to 50 km/h. This is an absolutely expedient solution. The majority of European countries have such a restriction in urban areas. It is proved experimentally that such a speed in cities save many lives. Despite the reduction of speed, the so-called tolerance threshold is still 19 km/h.

That is, today you can drive 69 km/h, 50 km/h +19 km/h.
