During the years of independence, Ukraine has lost a significant part of its industrial potential. The share of industry in GDP has decreased from 44% to 14% in 2016, and the material and technical base of enterprises does not correspond to the modern technological mode. Therefore, the urgent need is to restructure and modernize the Ukrainian economy, which requires significant investment resources.
