Europe is not united when it comes to the question about the construction of the second line of the Stream. Strong countries – Germany and Austria – are ones who are the most interested in the project. This means that Ukraine needs to intensify its efforts to preserve our transit. Even with the functioning of NS-2. In other words, for a long time, it was necessary to think about the plan “B” – Ukrainian transit with the existence of “Nord stream-2”. This is possible, but some officials even here, in the Institute, stated that the plan “B” does not exist and cannot exist. Because it will mean dancing to the Kremlin’s tune. Ukraine needs to have agreements that would guarantee the transit volumes going through Ukraine that will satisfy us, and not 10-15 billion cubic meters, which Russia previously mentioned.
