The other day there was an event that is connected with politics and the ecology at the same time in Slovakia. Police detained a group of activists of the international organization “Greenpeace” that staged a protest in Bratislava, demanding the government to end the “coal era”.
Everything happened on the territory of the Upper Nitra mining region in the West of Slovakia. Greenpeace activists staged a protest at town Novaky at one of the mines on November 28. 12 activists from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany
