THREE SCENARIOS FOR UKRAINIAN TRANSIT

We can talk about three main scenarios for the extension of transit for Ukraine:

1. Conclusion of a long-term contract for gas transit through Ukraine.
2. Creation of a consortium with the participation of European companies and the Ukrainian gas transmission operator. The concern will ensure the import of the necessary resources from Ukraine to the EU, taking into account the situation in the gas markets in the EU. It would be guided, in particular, by economic factors (for example, the transit rate of Ukrainian gas transmission network).
3. Short-term contracts – booking of capacities of the Ukrainian gas transmission network by the Russian side to ensure the possibility of pumping the necessary volumes of gas to the EU.
