In the new episode of the program “Evrointegratory” on ObozTV Glen Grant, member of the Reform Council (2016-2017) and expert of UIF, shared his thoughts on the problems and prospects of the Ukrainian army.

First of all, Glen named effective reforms in the area of defence. The year 2014 played an important role when the country began to move towards NATO and the EU and move away from the Russian vector, and this has changed the way of thinking of all people.

The second positive change took place in logistics – the process of purchasing new military uniform and supplying food products to the demarcation line has improved. And third, there appeared the equality between women and men in the army.

Glen also noted that the Ukrainian army still operates under the principles of the Soviet system, and it is necessary to tilt toward the principles of NATO, to be dynamic, move along the line of demarcation and maintain operations at night.
