The number of kids in schools and kindergartens in Kiev many years ago exceeded the statute-allowed occupancy rates. According to the data published on the EP website, the problem not only is not being solved but is worsening from year to year. Schools in Kiev are overcrowded. This is expected, because when new blocks of apartment buildings are being planned no one takes into account demographic or migration factors. There is only one way out: when the Kyiv City Council provides land for housing, it should set the conditions under which the infrastructure should be included in the project. And while this is not verified, any part of the facility should not be put into operation.
