On September 6, a new grain elevator of the American corporation Cargill (engaged in the production and trade of grains and oilseeds) and the company MV Cargo (TIS group of companies for the implementation of the grain terminal project) with a total storage capacity of 290 thousand tons was inaugurated in the port Yuzhny.

Vladislav Talakh, the UIF expert on economic analysis and transport infrastructure, spoke about the scale of this event and the importance of this project for Ukraine.

The opening of the new terminal means that the joint work of the private and public sectors in Ukraine is possible! This is the first and decisive step towards the creation of investment-attractive infrastructure facilities in the port industry of Ukraine.

MV Cargoʼs path was followed by such players in the port industry as Risoil, Delta Wilmar, Brooklyn-Kyiv, Kernel. They also signed a memorandum of cooperation with the USPA. For example, Kernel signed the main contract that includes mutual obligations to build a terminal and do dredging by the end of 2020.
