
Head of the Historical and Cultural Policy Program at the Ukrainian Institute for the Future.
Historian and public intellectual specializing in the history of Ukraine, Russia, and Central and Eastern Europe, as well as Ukrainian, Russian, and global historical and cultural policy. His work also focuses on public history and the popularization of historical knowledge in Ukrainian society.
Holds a PhD in History. His doctoral dissertation, “Polish Travel Literature as a Source for the History and Ethnography of Crimea”, was defended in 2012.
Author of several books on the history of Crimea and Russian historical myths, including:
